Union Street

A charming street packed with Victorian architecture, boutique stores and alfresco eateries.
Lyon Street Steps

Just two blocks away from our front door, on the way down the iconic and meticulously manicured Lyon Street Steps, you’ll be rewarded with soaring views of the bay. If you choose to ascend again on foot, you’ll have more than earned a glass of wine (or two) at our evening reception.
Alta Plaza Park

A gorgeous expanse of lawns and baronial mansions overlooking the city, just three short blocks from our front door. Come for tennis, the large children's playground, a dog play area and so much more.
Julius Kahn Playground

Stroll down to the Presidio and introduce the kids to ‘JK’ – a beautiful playpark with sand, water, swings, slides and heaps of activities.
Sacramento Street

Nestled among picturesque Victorian homes and tree-lined sidewalks, Sacramento Street is known for high-end consignment shops, art galleries, and antiques, as well as some of our favorite restaurants.
Fillmore Street

Wander the boutique heart of Pacific Heights, enjoy scores of great restaurants, or catch a movie in San Francisco’s oldest cinema, Landmark’s Clay Theatre.
The Presidio

A National Historic Landmark with 1,500 acres of trails, forests, sandy beaches, outdoor activities and scenic vistas. Sample local cuisine and don’t miss the vast new "Tunnel Tops" park-within-a-park.

A bustling thoroughfare, known for shopping, slow walks, alfresco dining and a friendly neighborhood vibe.
Golden Gate Park

Beloved by locals, this 1,000-acre park is packed with must-see attractions such as the world-class de Young Museum of Art, the spectacular California Academy of Sciences, a bison paddock, lakes, rivers, picnic areas, a lovely botanical garden – the list really does go on.
Crissy Field

Seeking a picturesque spot for a picnic, invigorating stroll or bike ride? This is the place for you. Located right on the Bay, it’s a flat and lovely expanse – but few realize that this was the site of San Francisco’s first airport!
The Fillmore

Host to icons like Hendrix and Santana, The Fillmore remains a proud and action-packed music venue at 1805 Geary Boulevard. Add in some really great restaurants and bars and you have quite an evening ahead of you.
California Academy of Sciences

Aquarium. Planetarium. Natural history museum. Rainforest dome. This is a must-visit for anyone interested in life on our Pale Blue Dot. Thursday night’s behind-the-scenes VIP tour (including cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and skip-the line access across the facility) is highly recommended.
de Young Museum

An ultramodern fine art museum showcasing a priceless collection of 17th to 21st-century American works. Don’t miss the trip up the tower for a stunning view of the entire park.
