Chestnut Street and the Marina District

The Presidio and Crissy Field
A National Historic Landmark, the Presidio has many wooded areas, hills and scenic vistas overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Crissy Field, a former airfield, is now wonderful waterfront park ideal for walking, jogging and biking.
De Young Museum
The original de Young Museum was damaged in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, and has been replaced by one of the city’s most innovative new pieces of architecture. Make time to have an organic bite to eat in the cafe and stroll the sculpture gardens.
